Gladdagh pendant with amethyst in heartshape.
The design is a heart with a crown adorned between two hands held. Named after the Irish Claddagh village located on the Galway bay.
Traditionally it was used as a symbol ring, it was a family heirloom that during an engagement, friendship or wedding ring was passed.
The symbol is as follows: the heart for love, hands for friendship and the crown for loyalty. The claddagh is centuries old and worn throughout the world.
