The Horus eye is a hieroglyphic sign of the Sun god Ra, who kept his eye on the world from heaven.

The ever-waking eye was worn as protection against negative projections from the environment.
Also to achieve equilibrium, strength and courage of Horus, the wisdom and understanding of Ptah and the brightness of Isis.

This is the left eye, and represents the moon, the increasing female forces and the past. The right eye represents the active, creative and male forces of the sun and the future.
