The shape alone is creating a balance. In the cross, the horizontal line of matter and the vertical line of the mind meet each other in the middle, the incarnation point. It is the symbol of man, who comes from spirituality (the circle) from the material (bottom bar) and through the opposing forces in the world (Yin-Yang, the two arms). Conversely, the higher cosmic energy attracts, which can exert its influence on the earth's surface.
